Yale University’s departmental bicycle sharing program provided participating university departments with free commuter bicycles for campus use. Over 40 bikes were distributed, which have collectively logged over 7,000 miles since the program’s inception in May 2008.
The Transportation Options program coordinated the original purchase and delivery of the bikes, but they are now managed by the individual department owners. No new bikes will be issued. Please see the bikeshare page for more information on how you can register for a Zagster membership to get around campus by bike.
