The Yale University Shuttle provides transportation between the University, the East Rock neighborhood and the New Haven train stations for students, faculty and staff. Click here to see the area served by the Shuttle. This FREE service runs year-round with the exception of the following University Holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and the following Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Service to the Yale Community includes: daytime routes, nighttime routes (formerly called the "minibus"); Yale New Haven Hospital Shuttle, VA Hospital Shuttle and the Special Services Shuttle.

The Daytime Campus Shuttle operates from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Blue Route

Runs Monday - Friday beginning at Prospect & Sachem Streets. Buses leave every fifteen minutes beginning at 7:00 AM with the final departure at 6:00 PM.
Nighttime Service begins at 6:00 PM from 333 Cedar Street and Whitney/Humphrey.

Orange Route

Run Monday - Friday beginning at Whitney & Canner Streets. Bus frequency is every twelve to fifteen minutes from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The last bus in the morning leaves Whitney/Canner at 10:45 AM. Afternoon service is provided from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, with the first departure 333 Cedar Street at 4:00pm and from College and Wall at 4:10pm. Nightime service Begins at 6:00 PM from 333 Cedar Street.

Early Red Route

The Early Red Line runs Monday - Friday beginning at Union Station from 5:40am - 7:00am. Please note that there are now TWO shuttle stop locations in front of Union Station. If the stop directly in front of the station is congested, shuttle drivers pick up in front of the parking garage. Please look for Shuttles in both locations.

Red Route & 25 Science Park

Red line runs Monday - Friday beginning at Union Station. Buses leave every fifteen minutes beginning at 7:05 AM with the final departure from Science Park at 6:50 PM. Please note that there are now TWO shuttle stop locations in front of Union Station. If the stop directly in front of the station is congested, shuttle drivers pick up in front of the parking garage. Please look for Shuttles in both locations.
